We are witnessing a revolution where knowledge-heavy and intelligent activities which were always believed to be a monopoly of humans are being increasingly outsourced to machines. AI has emerged as the new intelligence layer which can understand human intent and complete our work for us. It is now possible to go beyond “rule-based software” and set up intent based intelligent systems which work for human guides. This is transforming everything: how people interact with each other and society and how organizations operate. Given the size of its digitally connected population and the scale of its organizations, India is uniquely positioned to be at the forefront of this transformation.
We are organizing a closed door session on “Building India’s Sovereign Collective Intelligence” to explore this opportunity. We have thought leaders from academia, government and industry talking about how they are adopting AI to transform people-government interactions and organizational processes. The specific theme is a new proposal for an architecture for evolving “India’s collective intelligence.” We will present the technical proposal and show examples of how it is aligned with the action already taking place on ground.
